We have a four-decade track record of successful ownership and operation, with a well-timed investment and divestment strategy that includes controlling and minority stakes, as well as a strategic focus on a diverse range of media assets around the world, including free and pay TV, streaming, content, production, cinemas, digital media, e-commerce, radio, music, live events, and education in Europe, North America, and Australia.
Antenna Investments
Antenna Group is continually enhancing its presence to achieve its mission to inform and entertain people in a responsible, enriching, and balanced way. In line with this goal, it has established Antenna Investments, which is dedicated to the development of its global media ecosystem in the US and Europe.
Antenna Digital Ventures
Antenna Digital Ventures is a part of Antenna Group and aims to be the leading partner for digital consumer brands looking to expand in Central Eastern Europe and the Middle East. Its partners are typically high-growth companies with a proven record of customer success in the United Kingdom, United States of America and Western Europe. It provides capital, media exposure, people and local knowledge and connections to accelerate local adoption.
Raine Group
We enjoy a wide-ranging strategic partnership with Raine Group since 2010. Raine is the global merchant bank advising and investing in high-growth sectors of TMT, entertainment and sports.
Together, Antenna and Raine have explored joint initiatives to pursue growth opportunities in new entertainment formats, emerging technology platforms, content rights and production assets.
Alongside Raine, we have made multiple investments, in global companies, including:
- Imagine Entertainment: The iconic Hollywood film and television production company.
- TelevisaUnivision: The world’s largest Spanish-language media and content organization.
We have also been early investors in companies like Facebook, Twitter (X since 2023), and Spotify before their public listings.
In addition, as part of our most recent owned and operated investments, we currently own and control:
- CEE Thematic Channels: 22 Pay TV channels and streaming services across 12 countries in Central Eastern Europe.
- Village Cinemas: The largest cinema operator in Greece.
