Ralf Peter Gierig has over 30 years of broad experience in finance and the media and entertainment business, where he has held a variety of management positions.
Before joining Antenna Group, as a Senior Financial Advisor in January 2025, he was a consultant to Antenna Group in 2024. Prior to this, he was Group CFO of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, Munich/Unterfoehring, a leading entertainment and commerce player in the German-speaking region, operating a broad portfolio of entertainment assets in linear free and pay TV, digital streaming, content production, distribution and sales as well as operating a complementary portfolio of digital consumer brands in commerce, ventures, dating & video.
Ralf spent more than two decades at ProSiebenSat.1 in multiple management roles in finance, with his last role being that of the Group CFO. During this time, apart from his Group CFO role, his roles comprised that of Director and Executive Vice President Treasury Finance & Investor Relations, Segment CFO and that of Deputy Group CFO, where he took responsibility for a broad range of Group finance functions.
He began his career in the banking sector, at Bayerische Hypotheken- und Wechsel-Bank in Munich, where he spent a few years in project finance in the media, entertainment and TMT sectors as well as with MBO/LBO transactions.
Ralf Peter Gierig studied at universities in Bayreuth and Cologne and at London Business School. He is holding a degree in economics from the University of Cologne.
