LONDON, 17 FEBRUARY 2026 — Antenna Group, a leading international media, content and entertainment organization, today announced that Tony Blair will take on the role of Senior Advisor on the delivery of the Europe–Gulf Forum being hosted in May 2026. This announcement comes as Antenna Group continues to expand its operations globally, pursuing the vision of its Chairman, Theodore Kyriakou, to promote dialogue, connect people and deliver credible news.
The landmark Europe–Gulf Forum will be hosted by Antenna in partnership with the Atlantic Council, the leading U.S. think tank, in May 2026. This strategic initiative, received with enthusiastic support by top leaders of Europe and the Gulf, represents another major platform for dialogue championed by Antenna Group and will bring together the highest levels of political, business, investment, and policymaking leadership. It aims to build lasting cooperation between Europe and the Gulf—two pivotal regions working together around shared geopolitical and investment opportunities.
Antenna continues to expand into new markets across Europe and the U.S. The Group is building on three decades of successful investments, capital strength, and a proven track record in scaling media businesses globally, along with its values of integrity and local editorial independence. Appointing Tony Blair, who has unparalleled geopolitical experience, as Senior Advisor will provide a huge source of advice and insights to Antenna and its Chairman.
“We are delighted to welcome Tony Blair as Senior Advisor to Antenna Group as our company prepares to host this important event,” said Theodore Kyriakou, Chairman of Antenna Group. “His unmatched international leadership and unique diplomatic insight, together with our shared values of integrity and connecting people to drive positive change, will be invaluable. Tony’s involvement will also add significant strategic value to the Europe–Gulf leadership forum we are hosting with the Atlantic Council. This forum reflects our belief in the power of dialogue to build trust, unlock opportunities, and bring people and regions closer. We aim to shape a platform that is not only forward-looking, but truly impactful—for Europe, for the Gulf, and for the world.”
Tony Blair, Former Prime Minister of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, said: “This is a genuinely important and timely initiative and I look forward to working closely with Theo Kyriakou and the Antenna Group to deliver this important forum bringing together Europe and the Gulf. At a time of growing global polarisation, Antenna is leading the way in connecting societies rather than deepening divisions. This forum is a significant initiative for the future. Europe and the Gulf share deep strategic interests, and there is considerable scope for closer cooperation between them.”

About Tony Blair
Tony Blair was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007, serving three consecutive terms and becoming the only Labour leader in the party’s history to win three general elections.
During his decade in office, he delivered a wide-ranging domestic reform programme alongside sustained economic growth and record employment. Through major investment and structural reform, outcomes in education and healthcare improved significantly; crime fell by around a third; and a programme of social liberalisation and constitutional reform reshaped the UK’s political landscape. His government created the Department for International Development, trebled UK aid to Africa, and introduced landmark legislation to address climate change.
On the international stage, Tony played a central role in securing the 1998 Good Friday Agreement, which brought an end to decades of conflict in Northern Ireland.
After leaving office, Tony has remained deeply engaged in global affairs, particularly in Africa and the Middle East. He has continued to advocate for peace and regional cooperation in the Middle East, including efforts to support de-escalation following the recent conflict in Gaza and to advance a sustainable, long-term political solution. His work has also focused on normalising relations between Israel and Arab states, contributing to the momentum that led to the Abraham Accords in 2020.
In 2016, he founded the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, a not-for-profit organisation that works with political leaders around the world to drive change. It provides expert advice on strategy, policy and delivery, unlocking the power of technology across all three to build more open, inclusive and prosperous countries for people everywhere. Today, the Institute operates in more than 40 countries worldwide.
